This summer, the San Antonio Museum of Art is proud to present a Film on the Green, a summer film series. On Friday, August 9th, the Museum will screen Wonder Woman (2017). Round up your family and friends and hit the green for a fun summer event everyone will love!
Diana, princess of the Amazons, is trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when a pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers and her true destiny.
Film on the Green is an outdoor film series in collaboration with Slab Cinema. Films begin at sundown. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics. During inclement weather, films are canceled. Pets are not permitted on the Museum campus; however, service animals are permitted at the Museum.
Boasting the perfect atmosphere for the arts, the San Antonio Museum of Art enriches lives through exceptional experiences with art. Its mission is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret significant works of art, representing a broad range of history and world cultures to strengthen our shared understanding of humanity.
