The San Antonio River Foundation and the Las Casas Foundation are proud to present the biggest little orchestra around – Pink Martini featuring lead singer China Forbes!
Pink Martini will perform in celebration of the opening of Confluence Park and in support of Las Casas' Performing Arts Education Programs. Drawing inspiration from music from all over the world – crossing genres of classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop – Thomas Lauderdale founded Pink Martini in 1994 to provide more beautiful and inclusive musical soundtracks for political fundraisers for causes such as civil rights, affordable housing, the environment, libraries, public broadcasting, education and parks.
Confluence Park will transform a former Southside industrial laydown yard into a unique, interactive learning and recreational space. The park will include an educational pavilion, a large scale water catchment system, ecotype demonstration areas and an inviting gateway to hiking and biking trails along the Historic Mission Reach portion of the San Antonio River.
Even though Oxford at Sonterra Apartments in San Antonio, Texas provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!
